Freddy Green is a food and beverage concept built across four storeys of a historic townhouse in Aalborg, Denmark. The brief was total: Verda designed not only the interior but the complete 360 degree concept furniture, lighting, art pieces, staff uniforms and take-away packaging. This reflecting every surface and every object speaks the same language.
The building's existing structure was treated as the primary material. Tight floor plates and a vertical sequence of rooms demanded that each floor carry its own atmosphere while remaining unmistakably part of the same whole. The palette moves between raw and refine, dark stained timber, aged brass, textured plaster, upholstery in deep, considered colour, grounded in the craft traditions of the region while remaining entirely contemporary in its resolution.
Bespoke furniture was designed and made for the concept, with no two pieces repeated. The result is a space that rewards return visits: there is always more to notice, more to sit with.
